During his trip to the south of the country, inaugurated on 21 March with the first courtesy visit to the Mayor of Vlora, the Ambassador of the Order of Malta to Albania paid a courtesy visit to the Prefect of Vlora, Mr Vangjelo Tavo.

The meeting enabled the Prefecture of Ismail Qemali’s city to become acquainted with the Order of Malta’s Albanian organization’s first aid activities in Shkodra and laid the first foundations for a cooperation that could extend its activities in the city where the father of the Declaration of Independence was born.

During the meeting, Prefect Tavo was able to learn about the activities of our volunteers in the north and the activities the Order of Malta carries out worldwide.
