On Saturday, Feb. 10, on the occasion of the liturgical feast of the Blessed Speranza of Jesus at the Shrine of Merciful Love in Collevalenza, Italy, Ambassador Palumbo took part in the pilgrimage of the Umbria Delegation of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.

After the ceremony officiated by Father Aurelio Perez fam, Rector of the Shrine, who publicly greeted the ambassador to Albania thanking him for his presence at this Melitense pilgrimage, Father Alessandro Fortunati, chaplain of the Delegation, led, together with Father Ernesto Broglioni, the spiritual exercises for the members of the Order gathered in Collevalenza.

The occasion of this pilgrimage allowed Ambassador Palumbo to share the activities of the Sovereign Order of Malta in the Land of Eagles with the Order’s Delegate to Umbria, Filippo Orsini and chaplain Father Alessandro Fortunati, who has visited St. Joseph Parish in Fushe Arrez – Puke on many occasions during his lifetime.
