On June 23, the Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Charles John Brown, blessed the premises of the Embassy’s Chancery in the presence of all the Embassy’s diplomatic staff and their families, staying for a dinner at Villa Libohova offered by the Ambassador.

During the meeting, the Nuncio confirmed his already proven willingness to support the Order’s activities in Albania and expressed his total availability to explore together the possibility of establishing a small nucleus of members of the Order among the Albanian Catholic population, convinced of the fact that Albanian Catholics have been a heroic example of defenders of the Faith against all reasonable hope for over half a millennium. Their endurance, strength and martyrdom must be an example for all.
