On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Albanian Organisation of the Order of Malta in Shkodra, Director Maranaj Marku and the spiritual guide Frà Gazmend Tinaj went to audience with His Most Eminent Highness, the Prince and Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of Malta Frà Matthew Festing at the Magistral Palace in Rome to present him with a commemorative honour.

The historic decoration was also conferred on H.E. the Grand Chancellor Albert Freiherr von Boeselager together with H.E. the Grand Hospitaller Dominique, Prince de la Rochefaucauld and H.E. the Ambassador Stefano Palumbo. After the ceremony, the governing body of the Order of Malta’s Albanian organisation met with the senior officials of the Order to update them on the Order’s numerous activities in northern Albania and to discuss new projects in the area in the Order’s spirit and charisma.
