On 7 March, Archbishop Arjan Dodaj, Archbishop of Tiranë-Durrës, was received by Grand Chancellor Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo and Grand Hospitaller Fra’ Alessandro de Franciscis.

The situation in Albania, the activities of the Order’s relief corps and the development of the Order’s presence in the Land of Eagles were the topics discussed during the meeting in the Magistral Palace. Mgr. Dodaj, Conventual Chaplain ad honorem of the Order of Malta, offered to spiritually support the Order’s Embassy in Albania in its mission.

The meeting was attended by Prelate Monsignor Jean Laffitte and the Order of Malta’s Ambassador to Albania, Stefano Palumbo.
