The Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Albania, H.E. Stefano Palumbo joined the state reception hosted by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Bajram Begaj on the occasion of the 111th anniversary of the declaration of Independence of Albania.

The ceremony was attended by the heads of the state, central and local government, representatives of institutions and politicians, of Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia. The festive ceremony was joined by public and artistic life personalities, heirs of independence firms, clergy and international diplomats in Tirana.

During his speech President Begaj praised the contribution of the Albanians, the progress achieved by Albania and called for unity and cooperation of institutions and Albanians within and outside the country for the growth of welfare and the preservation of the values and principles on which this nation was built.
