The Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Albania, H.E. Mr. Stefano Palumbo, took part in the ceremony held at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, organized by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, in honour of Ismail Kadare on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of his birth.

The event was attended by members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Albania, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, together with numerous guests and friends from Tirana and Prishtina.

During the ceremony, with deep respect and special affection, participants paid tribute to Ismail Kadare’s monumental body of work and his extraordinary contribution to the strengthening of Albanian national consciousness, cultural identity, and the international recognition of Albanian literature.
