Within the framework of his institutional trip to southern Albania, Ambassador Palumbo paid two institutional visits to the Mayor of Fier, Armando Subashi, and the President of the Regional Council of Fier, Evis Sema, on 27 June. The two meetings were particularly productive and a harbinger of possible cooperation, especially in the field of health, with a special focus on breast cancer prevention.

Equally productive was the visit to the Murialdo Social Centre, a forge of commitment in favour of young people and disadvantaged groups in the Fier area, active for over 30 years and tirelessly led by Father Giovanni Salustri, who has turned it into an educational and professional reference point in the Region.
