On November 15, 2024, the Deputy Consul General of Italy in Vlora, Mr. Antonio Rapisardi, was honored with the Cross of Commander pro Merito Melitensi during a ceremony at the premises of the Albanian Organization of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Shkod\u00ebr. The award, granted by His Most Eminent Highness the Prince and Grand Master Fra\u2019 John Dunlap and the Sovereign Council, recognizes Mr. Rapisardi\u2019s remarkable dedication to fostering cooperation between the Order of Malta and Italian institutions in Albania.<\/p>\n
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Albania, H.E. Stefano Palumbo; the Coadjutor Archbishop of Shkod\u00ebr, His Excellency Giovanni Peragine; the First Secretary of the Embassy Mr. Stiven Shala; the Member of the Order of Malta, Marchese Giuseppe Durazzo; and the Director of the Albanian Organization of the Order of Malta, Dr. Maranaj Marku.<\/p>\n
